Core puzzle method
Four checks before the next tap
Food Hunt is easy to control, but the stack order and limited holding slots make every color choice matter.
Find your level- 01
Read the picture and stacks
Note the colors still visible in the pixel art and the block stacks available below the board.
- 02
Choose a useful color
Tap a stack whose ants can immediately consume matching pixels instead of waiting without progress.
- 03
Protect holding space
Keep room available for upcoming colors. Filling every temporary slot can stop the colony and end the attempt.
- 04
Clear every last pixel
Continue matching colors until the artwork is completely empty and the level is cleared.
Gameplay FAQ
Answers before you open a walkthrough
Use these fundamentals for a fresh attempt, then compare the guide thumbnail if your holding slots keep getting stuck.
How do I play Food Hunt: Pixel Puzzle?
Tap a block stack below the board to load a matching ant swarm. The ants move into the pixel-art picture and eat every available block of their color. Clear all colors to finish the level.
Why can a level fail?
Holding slots are limited. If the selected stacks cannot make progress and every slot becomes occupied, the ants cannot move and the attempt ends.
What color should I choose first?
There is no universal first color. Check which colors are visible, which stacks are currently available, and which choice will free a slot instead of blocking one.
Is there a timer?
No. Food Hunt is designed without a level timer, so you can inspect the picture and plan the stack order before tapping.
Why does the guide look different from my board?
Game updates can change a level layout. Compare the cover image and version tabs, then choose the walkthrough that most closely matches the colors and stack order on your device.
Is this the official Food Hunt website?
No. Food Hunt Level Guide is an independent player resource. The game is available through the Apple App Store and Google Play; game names and assets remain the property of their respective owners.
